Tuckwell Open-Air Theatre Festival IS BACK for 2025!
During August, we open the doors to our idyllic Tuckwell Amphitheatre!
This summer, get ready for an unforgettable season under the stars because Tuckwell, our open air theatre is back!
We are pleased to announce the return of our eagerly anticipated Tuckwell, and are looking forward to bringing you an incredible line-up of live entertainment in a breath-taking open-air setting.
Opening Night is 12th August and we’d love for you to join us for an unforgettable series of performances under the stars, featuring music, film, and theatre. Curtain closes 24th August, and with a wide variety of performances, we know there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Useful information:
- Tuckwell is a short distance away from the Bacon Theatre, with free on-site parking available. During busy periods we can’t guarantee spaces so we recommend that you allow plenty of time for parking
- Hot and cold drinks, including alcoholic beverages are available to purchase along with a selection of snacks, sweets and chocolate
- Bring low-backed seating (camping/deck chairs are ideal) and prepare for all weathers. In the event of unsafe weather this event will transfer into the Bacon Theatre
- Access is via a gravel path, staff will be happy to provide assistance to pass this with a wheelchair
- We have reserved spaces at the back of the auditorium for wheelchair users and their guests
- Unisex adapted toilet with level access are available in the Sports Hall
